Our study for the transformation of the Porta Susa train station in Turin, Italy, takes advantage of the shifting of the train tracks to an underground level to create a double sculptural object overlooking a public plaza, opening up all the liberated spaces to the public.
The design intent is to create a vibrant new centre that goes beyond the simple transportation hub to include entertainment and cultural spaces, contributing to its economic feasibility and long-term sustainability.
